More Tips

1. Main Water Valve

Make sure everyone in the home knows were the main shut off valve is located in case of emergency.

2. Toilet Overflow

If your toilet overflows, remove the lid and lift the fill valve in the upward position. And try to attempt to remove the obstruction.

3. Check your meter periodically

If there are no running fixtures in your home, then the dial shouldn't be moving. If it is moving you may have a leak in the system. Call Sugar Bear Plumbing to remove this problem.

4. Stop valves

These are the valves near each water fixture. Learn their location, so if you're aware of any major leak you can shut off the valve immediately.

5. Open and Close all valves once a year

This will ensure that they will work properly when you need them too. Other wise they may freeze up over time.

6. Water Heaters

Water Heaters may last longer over time by flushing them out once or twice yearly to remove settlement build up.

7. Drain Stoppages

You can prevent drain clogs by using Bio Clean Degradable as recommended, ask Sugar Bear How?
