Company History & A Message From The Owner
Hi, My name is Lawrence Smith, President and Founder of your plumbing company in San Francisco, CA, Sugar Bear Home Services. I was born in Jackson, Mississippi; hometown – Hazlehurst, Mississippi. Moved to Richmond, CA in 1988. By 1991 my father relocated us to Diamond Heights in San Francisco, CA. With over 45 years of plumbing under his belt, that led me to be like father, like son.
Sugar Bear was a nickname given to me by a local couple, who became good friends of mine in 1997. San Francisco is one of the many cities I have visited and I’m proud to say it’s my new home. I started Sugar Bear Home Services in 2001 with the support of my wife and step-daughter. A few years later came my look-a-like son and daughter. We now live in South San Francisco.
I have been blessed to work and learn alongside some of the best plumbers that the Bay Area has to offer. From San Francisco to The Peninsula, we specialize in Repair Services and Remodel Plumbing. Plumbing is my goal and my goal has become my passion. We offer drain cleaning, copper pipe replacement, water heater repair – anything to do with plumbing!
